Maths Mate: Term 2: Sheet 1: Q22

Predict: I predict that this going to be about money pencils and erasers.

Read: Four pencils cost as much as two erasers. How much are twelve pencils  if one eraser is $1.50.

Clarify: None.

Big Question: How does pencils cost.

Mathematicians Toolbox:

Solve: First I figure out that 2 pencils equal 1 rubber so 4 pencils cost $3 then I times 3 times 4 which equals $12 and that is the answer.

Summary: Today I used my problem solving skills well which helped me solve the problem.

Maths Mate: Term 1: Sheet 8: Q24

Predict: I predict that you have to fill in the circles so that something equals something.

Read: Enter numbers in the circles so that the numbers on each line equal the sum of the number at each end,

Clarify: None.

Big Question: Fill the circles

Mathematicians Toolbox: Guess, Check and Improve.

Solve: First I put 7 in the top circle and added 10 to the seven then I put 20 in the bottom left circle and 30 in the bottom right circle.

Summary: The strategy I used was very useful and help me solve the problem and the problem wasn’t as hard as the last one.

Peanut’s Attack

I am Peanut as you all now and I’m the going to attack the Smith’s house with an army of 1 million clones of me armed with potatoes guns and potato tanks and that is how I’m going to destroy this home. Step 1 is to ambush the home. Step 2 to attack the backyard defences with the potato division. Step 3 roll out the tanks.

I’m Larry the security guard of the house and fight for Smith House and I’m going to fend of Peanut’s attack with a water bomb and an army of the kids friends.

“Battalion attack”.

“Your never going to get through”, sneered Andrew. Pointing his Nerf Gun at a Peanut’s head.

Pow!

“Charge, pea man, for peanut, random splash”.

“Oh yeah well I set up a trap to defeat your army, friends get those peanut brains”.

“We got 1 million men to unleash on your house”.

“Your still not gonna win”.

“Unleash the tanks on the house’.

Who! screaks, reddle, raddle.

“Unleash the bomb of Peanut doom and destruction”.

‘Your never gonna destroy me never”.

Splash!

Another one Bites the Dust plays

“We will fight to the and will not lose peanuts forever”.

Today peanut went phyco in his own personal tank of doom.

This was just play for everyone in fact and they all had fun with trying to destroy each other with there toy’s. They were just playing role play in a silly way like come on how do destroy a house with potato guns.

How to play Aussie Rules

Equipment:

A ball, a good sized park or football field, some basic rules, a couple of friends, 8 cones if you don’t have any goal posts and a stop watch.

Method:

1. Go to the football field or park with your friends.

2. Set up some cones if you don’t have any goals.

3. Decide on some basic rules of the game eg: no high tackling.

4. Decide who’s going to be the umpire and start the game with a ball up, remember to set the stop watch to 1hr.

5. Play with your friends until the stopwatch goes off.

The end result is a satisfying game hopefully.
